This is where the rubber hits the road. You can only design and analyze for so long. As the saying goes, “at some point you have to shoot the engineers and build parts….”
We build many prototypes – the first 1, 10, or 100 pieces used for test and verification. Our in house prototype shop utilizes soft tooling, rapid prototypes, and high speed CNC machining to quickly and cost effectively get to parts into the lab and the field.
Most projects follow the 80/20 rule. Electronic design and analysis will typically get a project to about 80% of the required performance, the last 20% is dialed in during prototype testing.
We have lots of product and industry experience, our lessons learned means you save time and money. History has shown the last 20% can many times take new composites companies nearly as long or longer than the first 80%. We know the shortcuts through the woods.
